ABOUT KEITH LITTLE

Owner

Keith’s career as an entrepreneur began early in life serving as an integral member and leader of his family owned and operated funeral business for 20 years. With a growing desire to combine his entrepreneurial interests with his affinity for decorative design, Keith turned his vision into reality with the opening of a successful art gallery and antique business near the popular Broad Ripple arts district. It was during this time that Keith began to further develop his passion for creative expression with his talent for preparing gourmet cuisine. As a board member for a local charity, Keith volunteered to organize and cater the charity’s annual holiday fund-raiser.  The event was a success and an attending guest asked Keith if he would be interested in catering an event for a new retail store opening. Keith agreed and again enjoyed the same positive results. Additional catering requests followed and, in 2000, Keith officially launched Little Events with the purchase of a commercial kitchen and catering facility on the near north side of Indianapolis.  As the business has grown and evolved, so has the name. Today, Black Plate Catering by Keith Little enjoys catering events of all types and sizes for families, groups, businesses and charities in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
